Vox’s Animal Issue Examines Our Relationship with Animals

Vox recently published The Animals Issue of The Highlight, which examines various aspects of humans’ relationship to animals in light of the COVID-19 pandemic.  Some of the topics covered include the increase in pet adoptions during quarantine, an in-depth look at the history of one pork producer, and discussions of how we evaluate animals in deciding whether they are deserving of our protection.
