The Missing Link for a Reconnected World: The Prospect and Promise of an International Convention For Animal Protection

Free Webinar

October 12, 2022

With states facing the interrelated crises of global pandemics, climate change disasters, mass extinction events, and entire ecosystem collapses, protecting the interests of animals, who play pivotal roles in mitigating these harms, has never been more vital to securing human interests and safeguarding human life. Against this backdrop, this panel of lawyers and advocates from the International Coalition for Animal Protection will discuss how the recently developed Convention on Animal Protection for Public Health, Animal Well-Being, and the Environment (CAP) holds the promise of providing the missing link to not just a reconnected but also more secure world.
