P.A.W.S. Act Unanimously Passes Florida LegislatureFebruary 15, 2016
A family from Alabama plans to sue Disney World after a snake fell from a tree and bit a boy, allegedly leading to the death of the boy’s grandmother while the family was visiting Disney’s Animal Kingdom. The family’s attorney, Matt Morgan, said the boy’s grandmother saw the snake bite the boy, went into cardiac arrest and died a short time later. A Disney spokeswoman says the snake was wild, not part of an Animal Kingdom exhibit, and that an ambulance was called for the grandmother after the incident. Disney also claims the family returned to the park after the boy was treated with a Band-Aid.
